It’s a special day so I went out for dinner to a place I’ve never been but seen many times: Wish Cafe on Charles Street, just east of Yonge. It’s a small restaurant, but most notably, its seating area is made up of sofas, clear plastic chairs and wooden tables. On top of this, the floors are distressed hardwood; there are weather-worn teal shutters on the walls and the whole area is separated from the outside by plastic windows and canvas. Very cosy and very romantic. Food was ok.
