49/365: you have no choice

You have no choice!
I went out for dinner with Nicole tonight for her birthday.  She chose this restaurant near Ossington and Dundas, an area I’ve never ventured to but was pleasantly surprised about.  This restaurant “breaks all the rules”.  Read about it here.

What did you think of the food? I read the webpage and it sure sounds good and yet the ingredients don’t sound so good. Liver puree??? Not for most people if you like liver. Was it pricey? Anyway, just curious about how YOU felt about the experience.

On Fridays and Saturdays, the menu does open up a bit to a selection of 3 things. Two of them had duck, but one was sausage-based. It was delicious, but not as much as the desserts – some apple and peach-based things. Descriptions don’t do it justice. It wasn’t entirely bad price-wise. It came to $94.00 for two, which included three drinks (two martinis), a starter, two mains, two desserts and two Americanos.
